The Basics of Behavior

How Skills Are Built

Replacement behaviors often incorporate the improvement of common behavioral driven skills. These skills include, but are not limited to, communication, conflict resolution, problem-solving, time-management, stress management, self-improvement, patience, empathy, decision-making, interpersonal, critical thinking, cooperation, confidence building, adaptability.

These skills can be built by identifying one's strengths and weakness, and individually improving them through play, interactive teaching, coaching, implementation of interventions, education, and PATIENCE.

How is Human Behavior Formed?

Behavior is learned, or driven, by biological (genetic) and environmental factors (stimulations) that affect an individual. Behavior may also be driven, in part, by thoughts and feelings experienced (internal dialogue).
